Tourneau TimeMachine to preview 'Only Watch'

New York--Tourneau TimeMachine will host a preview exhibition of "Only Watch," a charity auction of 34 one-of-a-kind timepieces specially made by leading Swiss watch manufacturers, from Sept. 10-12.

Patrizzi and Co. will auction the watches and clocks on Sept. 24 in conjunction with the Monaco Yacht Show in Monaco, with real-time bidding online.

Many of the individual watches, estimated to sell from $5,000 to more than $300,000, feature innovative mechanical movements, unusual materials and striking designs and gemstones.

The sale will raise money for Duchene Muscular Dystrophy research. Two previous auctions, held in 2005 and 2007, raised more than $6 million, according to Patrizzi and Co. Prince Albert II of Monaco has supported the benefit for the Monagesque Association against Muscular Dystrophy since its inception in 2001.

The preview exhibition will be held from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at Tourneau TimeMachine, 12 E. 57th St. at Madison Avenue in New York City.
